- The version of Rom code or in the MVP144 modem's case the windows
- interface driver has some problems with winsock connections. The
- release code, I think, is 1.84. I struggled with my internet
- connection for some time, until I downloaded the 3.03 modem/Firmware
- from AOL. I haven't been to cardinal's website, but I bet is
- available there also.

- I think the modem is great, and I regularly get 1.2kps or so from
- my web browser/ftp connections.
